A very pretty 1948 Dodge was purchased in February of 2017. She spent the last 70 years on the egg farm of Nicholas Gangone. Restoration and customization plans followed. Betty Lou is the princess of the crew. She does not travel much but has plans to be in a permanent retail location in Farmington soon. Look for the Farm Truck farmer's market to open daily in June of 2019.
As word spread about Farm Truck and our schedule grew we realized one truck just wouldn't be enough. A 1954 Chevrolet named Jessie Jane was purchased in June of 2017. Jessie Jane is a real workhorse. She was outfitted with custom display system and she faithfully traveled the Farmington Valley in 2017 and 2018 bringing the best of local to so many! Look for Jessie Jane throughout the Farmington Valley. We will be in Farmington, Bristol, Avon, Hartford, Rocky Hill, Southington and more towns near you in 2019.
Violet Mae came to us in February of 2018. The original owner, George Sakellarios, delivered milk with this beautiful truck in Hudson Valley, NY in the 1950's. She was garaged in Unionville, CT the past 10 years and has now come back to life as part of the farm truck collection! Betty Lou was the truck for all the holiday visits in 2018. In 2019 you will see her at many events throughout the Farmington Valley.
